PLB & URBANIA
Men's URBANIA – Rodier T-shirt - Organic cotton
Created in Montreal in 2003, URBANIA is an independant media group for the curious and open-minded whose goal is to make the ordinary extraordinary. URBANIA's mission is to be daring anthropologists of popular culture and society, a megaphone for singular points of view, disturbing testimonies that debunk prejudices and outbursts that provoke reactions and overturn perceptions.
The URBANIA team has set up its headquarters in the Rodier building in Griffintown in September 2020. Built in 1875, its construction was initiated by Mr. Charles-Séraphin Rodier Jr., an entrepreneur who became one of the wealthiest francophone Quebecers of the time. The building was for a long time the home of the hunting and fishing store Baron Sports and is today a hub of cultural entrepreneurship.

Local manufacturing and ethics
Our T-shirts are made in Canada, by unionized employees with good working conditions.
Composed of organic cotton and recycled polyester, each PLB T-shirt helps to clean up our environment by removing up to five plastic bottles from the environment.
Our organic cotton fabrics follow the organic content standard (OCS). This certification verifies the presence and quantity of organic materials in a final product and tracks the flow of the raw material from its source to the final product. The OCS 100 covers the processing, manufacture, packaging, labelling, trade and distribution of a product, to ensure that it contains at least 95% of certified "organic" materials.
PLB compensates for its ecological footprint by supporting the organization Arbre-Évolution, an organization that specializes in tree planting and ecosystem restoration.
