MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
With this design, PLB reaches out to creators and music lovers by putting forward various musical instruments and listening mediums. This T-shirt will appeal to all music lovers, no matter their favourite genre: salsa, rock, soul, or jazz.
BOOMBOX RADIO
A boombox is a portable radio that was all the rage during the 80s and 90s, just before the arrival of the CD. He could receive radio stations and play recorded tapes. In this design, the speakers are replaced by turntables, which have returned to fashion. Indeed, vinyl records are still widely used today by DJs.
GUITAR
This T-shirt is perfect for aspiring guitarists as well as for all acoustic guitar lovers. Its design evokes that music is good for the soul, but also gestures to the ecological values of PLB, who grafted the drawing of a tree to the instrument to recall where it comes from.
HUMMINGBIRD & GRAMOPHONE
Nature meets music. On this design, PLB illustrates a hummingbird coming to forage on the speaker of a gramophone, as a flower. The idea suggested here is that birds are curious and love music.
CASSETTE I ♥ MUSIQUE
Are you nostalgic for the music of the 1980s that you used to listen to on your Walkman? This design showcases the cassette, which was first marketed in 1963, only to be displaced by the CD in the 1990s. Rest assured, this old-time artefact is not completely gone and could even make a comeback on store shelves.
JAZZ
Here is a T-shirt for jazz lovers, and its multiple subgenres; bossa nova, afrobeat, cool jazz, acid jazz, soul jazz, swing, etc. Jazz was born out of African-American culture, in Louisiana, in the southern United States. Since its emergence, more than 100 years ago, it has managed to pass through time, and has produced a huge amount of standards, now known to all.
