The decoration of evergreen trees at year's end is said to be a pagan tradition started during the middle ages in german countries and then popularized around the world in the 19th century. Before its association to Christian tradition and gift giving, the persistant nature of evergreens symbolized rebirth after the winter solstice. The «Fir Balsam and Blackcurrant» soap mixes the characteristic odour of the fir tree to the high pointed fruity notes of the blackcurrant to push and prolong the fresh woody aspects of this beloved tree.

A combination of shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil and coconut oil make these soaps extra rich and moisturizing. The absence of palm oil adds an eco-conscious dimension to this prime luxury item.
